Hey - You cynical bastards! I set up this wiki as a forum for discussion, file storage and planning.
RelationshipScoreboard.com Inc. is a Las Vegas, Nevada based company incorporated in November 2009. The company owns the domain name ‘relationshipscoreboard.com’ and will soon begin development of its flagship website. The website will allow its users to answer a series of questions regarding any specific relationship, which in turn helps ‘score’ the relationship based on three separate categories as follows:
1.An aggregate score out of 100 with 0 being a completely dysfunctional relationship and 100 being a perfectly harmonious relationship.
2.A separate score for each of the two partners so as to determine which partner is winning the relationship and which is losing. In other words, which partner is benefiting more from the relationship while the other is getting the short end of the stick. The combined score of the two partners will total 100, with the individual having the score over 50 being perceived as the one ‘winning’ the relationship.
3.A final scoring system will be used to determine how much longer the public perceives that the given relationship will last.
How the website works
Upon arrival, one can look up a given couple by name, narrowing down options by country and city. If the couple one is looking for is not found, the user will then have the option to ‘nominate’ this couple and be the first to score their relationship. Of course, there are different types of relationships and as such there will be different relationship categories to choose from. Initially, all relationships will fall into one of five categories as outlined below. Additional categories can be introduced based on demand as the site grows in popularity:
1.Dating or married (with kids)
2.Dating or married and living together (without kids)
3.Adult Dating – living separately
4.University Dating
5.High School dating
Note that the questions that must be answered in order to determine a relationship score will differ from category to category. While the questions in each category are adjusted according to the nature of the relationship, the end result is the same in that for any category, three unique score results are generated. First is the overall relationship score out of 100. Second is which person is ‘winning’ the relationship battle, and by how much, with the combined score totalling 100. Third is the prediction as to how long the relationship will last.
